Your Safety Net Is on Fire
Especially if you have a family
Nobody sees the panic you swallow.
They just see the paycheck you provide. They don’t feel the air getting sucked out of the room every time you realize you’re never, ever allowed to fail.
It hits me in the dumbest moments. Looking over a brokerage statement. Going through a grocery receipt. Watching my young son eat breakfast. Just this sudden, cold grip around my lungs. It’s all on me.
Every bill, every crisis, everyone’s future. I am the only safety net my family has.
If AI has you scared, I want you to know you’re not alone. It scares me, too.
I don’t care how indispensable we may think we are. AI is coming for ALL of us. Entire sections of American industries will get destroyed under the march of AI.
We’re facing a new Industrial Age. And it’s unfolding at a speed no one alive has ever seen.
The decisions we make now will shape the future lives of our spouses, children, and grandchildren. One wrong move and a lifetime of sacrifice could get gutted by AI.
As I think about my own young son’s future, my three-year-old granddaughter’s future, I can’t help but ask: “Am I doing enough to keep them financially safe?”
Because the terrifying truth is the safety net we think we’ve built is made of paper and that safety net is on fire.
The paper is the shares we own in great businesses like Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SAP, and many more. These “impenetrable” tech monopolies have dropped as much as 30%, 56%, 48%, and 44%, respectively.
And we’re not even in a bear market. Let that sink in.
If the S&P 500 drops 20%, what will happen to these stocks? They’re the backbone of millions of investors’ retirement dreams. And they’re unraveling at light speed.
