In a World of Chaos, Bitcoin Is Our Financial Life Raft

Love him or hate him, I don’t know many people who can take a bullet to the face and then immediately pop up with their fist in the air.

I am not a political person. And I don’t intend to start being one right now because my work is for everyone.

But I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the courage it took for President Trump to immediately stand up in defiance to someone trying to kill him.

Again, whether you like the man or not… Whether you agree with his politics or not… That was an American President someone tried to kill. And that American President handled himself with extreme composure.

Getting back to financial markets, it was very interesting to see how bitcoin handled the chaos. At first, bitcoin dropped. And then when it was obvious President Trump would survive, bitcoin went on a rally.

I’ve been saying for years that bitcoin is among the best of all chaos hedges. And we’ve seen that be true multiple times.

The general script is that when chaos strikes, bitcoin takes a knee-jerk dive but then zooms right back.
