The White House Is Making AI Foot the Light Bill
Power grids are stretched to their limits
Artificial intelligence (AI) isn’t just straining the national power grid.
It’s breaking it.
This is no longer science fiction or some distant future problem. The warning lights are flashing right now – and what’s unfolding is rapidly becoming a national emergency.
That’s why the Trump administration just made a move last week that sent shockwaves through Silicon Valley and Wall Street.
The White House wants to force Big Tech companies to finally foot the bill for the massive energy demand coming from their AI data centers.
The proliferation of these centers across the country is causing electricity prices to skyrocket for everyday Americans.
Take PJM Interconnection, for example. It’s the largest power grid in the United States… keeping lights on for 65 million people in 13 states and Washington, D.C.
But PJM is facing a huge problem: The cost to secure standby power has exploded.
Standby power is electricity that isn’t being used right now – but is guaranteed to be available instantly when demand spikes.
Grid operators like PJM pay power plants to stay ready to turn on at a moment’s notice. This backup power is what prevents blackouts during heat waves, outages, or sudden surges in demand.
AI data centers run 24/7 and pull massive amounts of power, forcing grids to secure far more standby capacity. When that backup supply is scarce, prices explode.
According to PJM watchdog group Monitoring Analytics, more than $23 billion in recent price increases is tied directly to AI data centers. Those costs get passed straight to PJM customers.
That’s why the Trump administration stepped in.
The White House is now pushing AI companies to pay nearly $15 billion in new baseload power for PJM and lower prices for rate payers.
This is all part of what Teeka calls the “Genesis Mission.” It’s unfolding in real time. And if you position yourself now, this idea could nearly double your money in a year.
