Everyone Is Watching Washington. I'm Watching $80,000
Bitcoin just gave traders three different trades in less than two days
Friends, if you tried to trade this election by reading the political headlines, bitcoin has already taken you on one heck of a ride.
On election night, bitcoin fell into the mid-$75,000s. On Wednesday, it had ripped more than $5,000 higher and traded above $81,000.
Hundreds of millions of dollars in short positions were wiped out as traders who bet on lower prices scrambled to get out.
Then the market snapped the other way.
On Thursday, bitcoin fell from about $78,767 to about $75,986 in an hour.
Think about the whipsaw traders just lived through.
First, bitcoin ripped higher and forced short sellers out of their positions. Then, within about a day, the market reversed and traders betting on higher prices were suddenly the ones under pressure.
Both sides got caught.
That’s a massive amount of movement in a very short period of time. And it’s the kind of volatility that can create enormous trading opportunities if you know how to navigate it.
If you joined me Wednesday night, you know this kind of market is exactly why I made one of the biggest changes of my career.
I’ve handed the short-term trading side of crypto to someone on my team — and below, I’ll show you why I chose him.
Washington Divided. Bitcoin Still Trading.
